Sorry to forward this to the list, but I didn't know how else to reach Anita.

Subject: Stolen Art Treasures from WWII

Hello:

I just recently finished a paper on sources of information covering
antiquties theft. I didn't specifically cover theft from WWII, but
instead I covered theft in general from the late 1700's on.

Anyway, there is one book that I came across that has a very informative
chapter on the plunder practiced by Hitler in WWII. It is:

Chamberlin, Russell. _Loot! The Heritage of Plunder_ New York:Facts on
File, 1983.

I hope this helps.
