NOONTIME LECTURE SERIES at the Smithsonian Institution
In celebration of American Indian Heritage Month (November) and the
opening of the George Gustave Heye Center of the National Museum of the
American Indian, there will be a lecture series on the exhibitions
featured at the new museum.
Location: Briefing Room (basement level) National Air & Space Museum
(NOTE: since this is an area that is normally off-limits to
the public, visitors who are not Smithsonian staff should first
stop by the information desk to obtain a visitor's badge.)
Time: Noon
Dates: *November 16 - "Creation's Journey: Masterworks of Native
American Identity and Belief" presented by Evi Oehler.
*November 23 - Orientation exhibition by Danyelle Means.
*November 30 - "This Path We Travel: Celebrations of Contemporary
Native Creativity" by Andrea Hanley.
