In your posting you specify that slides are being requested from
institutions.

As a private conservator who is a member of IIC-CG, and who has made
presentations at annual conferences of IIC-CG, and who has designed security
systems for exhibit cases and has developed a data logger for monitoring
conditions within exhibit cases I feel, somehow, left out

This is not an advertisement for my services. It is a reflection of my
dismay toward an attitude that only institutional conservators are
acceptable providers of information.
