Don't you think it's interesting that almost everyone who has cited a novel
has cited a mystery? What's THAT all about?
For the record, here are a few non-mysteries in which museums appear:
Heartbreak Hotel by Gabrielle Burton features "The Museum of the Revolution
where you take little children and show them girdles and miniskirts and
garter belts...and sexist remarks and stereotyped textbooks and
pornography..."
Museum by B.H. Friedman is a novel about one family's "Museum of Living Art"
"The Barnum Museum"--a short story by Steven Millhauser
"Museums and Women" --also a short story by John Updike
The Last Museum by Brion Gysin--I'm not sure if this is actually about a
museum; I've not read it yet.
