A good person to talk to regarding repatriation is Perry Ground at Sainte
Marie Among the Iroquois. Perry is a Native American, and has a gift for
discussing this issue without making people feel defensive. He has lectured
for students at the Cooperstown Graduate Program and also spoke on the
subjects of repatriation and interpreting existing cultures at the annual
meeting of the Association for Living Historical Farms and Agricultural
Museums. I believe one of his co-workers is a member of Museum-L. Are you
out there Kim? If memory serves the museum is in Liverpool, NY.
