I agree with Bob Rogers' comment on the level of discussion on newsgroups.
Another problem that I am worried about is the practice of "spamming" (sending
unwanted advertisements/commercials through the newsgroups). Many of the
discussion lists out there have been hit by these unprincipled spammers, and
mailboxes tend to fill up fast as a result.
