To Susan Reed, IU Art Museum, and anyone else interested in the Art and
Architecture Thesaurus, it is put out by the Getty Art History Information
Program and is published as a 5-volume set as well as an electronic version
(Authority Reference Tool).  Here at Mystic Seaport Museum we are
participating with the people at AAT to include some specific maritime terms,
so you see that their sphere is quite broad.
 
They have recently announced the creation of their own listserv
