I, for one, didn't find any obstrusive commercialism in the messages
discussing this topic (of whiteout). The topic was hotly debated, controversial
and had apparent overtones of personal, as well as professional, full-court
presses. While some of the sources of information contributed to this
discussion may have come from quasi- and serious commercial sources, their
observations were, for me, welcome and in some instances, a breath of fresh
air....
