Dear Jane,
 
This sounds very good; do know about lots of Dutch people being involved in
ICOM and things, but this certainly is close at hand. One problem: Leiden is
known in Holland as (among other names) Museum Town: lots of museums. Any
idea which museum he's working at? [I'm actually going to show some English
friends around two museums in Leiden today anyway...]
