I really don't know where I picked this up... but I don't even forward
mail unless I receive permission from the original sender.  Of course,
this is different with list mail as the message writer is in effect,
creating a public domain message.  But I would never expect anyone to
print anything I said without requesting permission and allowing me to
clean up/clarify the message.  Isn't there a list devoted to Internet
ethics...?
