Dear Jenny Wilker,
  There is a museum for "Bandes Dessinees" (comic books) in Brussels.
The address should be in the International Directory of the Arts since
it has been in existence for more than 5 years.  Brussels, by the way,
is a center for such material and folks there should be able to steer
you in the direction of other institutions.
