You should contact your local 3M company and inquire about UV film. While the
films have a finite life span, it's not very expensive to replace every five
years. However, if security is also a concern you should contact Bob
Ducibella at voice line 203-393-0430.
He has done some research into UV protective films that are also very useful
in preventing glass breakage.
