I am conducting research on historic preservation for an upcoming
presentation. Any information on historic homes and properties that
conduct preservation and restoration efforts in unique ways would be helpful.

In particular, I am looking for case studies of historic properties that
may not be state-run, but instead are owned by private trusts or owned by
private owners and kept open to the public.

This information will help me identify how different forms of historic
properties meet the challenges of running and financing their
preservation efforts.
