Jeremy Bentham sits in a glass box, glove and hat in one hand, cane
in the other, in the hallway of the main building of University College
London.  Rumor has it he is wheeled into the faculty senate meetings
each year!  The year I spent in London, one of his hands fell off and
he thus spent a good deal of time in conservation having it reattached.
He looks great for a 200+ year old man.
