Thank you all for your help in locating Kate Keller, Illustrator for the
original Animal Eat Exhibit. She met with our staff yeterday. The information
provided helped us shorten our list dramatically, and we found her in about a
week after posting to the list for leads. All lists should be so helpful :))
 
Also, those who responded to my query on taxidermy were a great help. At the
suggestion of a helpful museum-l participant, I think we will end up using
fewer specimens, from our own collection, that will be cleaned, fluffed,
re-stuffed and checked for safety (these specimens are often 100+ years old).
The final outcome will be posted here eventually.
