AG raises some interesting ?'s. My interest in all this, is as an
Instructional Designer; while in Asia (4 yrs), I worked to develop some of
the interactive bilingual displays for the Museum for Science & Technology in
HK. (Cultural change is profoundly evident everywhere I've traveled in the
past 6 yrs.) I think preparing displays & writing to a list (747 is a
substantial number & more !!), is not all that different. Here are a few
more ?'s to add to the list AG started:

* Do you think it might come down to the issue of privacy in an 'info' age?
* How much of me do I want to expose; even tho my face is not visible, my
soul is?
* If (when?) we keep thoughts to ourselves do we become even more isolated
than our fragmented society, our almost total lack of community, & our
impoverished commitment to each other has already forced?

I too, think jargon is rather short lived & (in the educational field
anyway), -- fads, language, and 'solutions' come & go like the tide.
