I have the data and results from IMS's 1992
National Needs Assessment survey of museums,
available as an ASCII text file.  The results
include the best and most recent estimates for
number of U.S. museums, and numerous other
statistics on museums' demographics, activities,
funding, and desired assistance.
 
The file is too large to pass through my
Internet gateway, so I would like to find
someone who will make it easily available to any
interested parties.  If you run a gopher, data
archive, etc, and would like to include this
file, then drop me a line.  File is about 165K
uncompressed, or 33K Zipped.
