cd-rom

I think I didn't make one point clear in my recent message about the Burke
Museum's possible cd-rom project. The goal is not to make a cd-rom of
the Northwest Coast collections--that project has already been done on
videodisc--instead the idea is to make a fully interactive, educational
cd-rom that could be used by both adults and older children. It would
include some images of objects in the collections but it also would
contain historical images, interviews with Indian people living today,
maps, etc. In other words, we want to do something that is both
entertaining and educational.
