I should be very interested in this empirical work as I have thought,
and published on the mystical significance of the object but only
from a theoretical point of view.
 
My article by the way was: `The Museum, Meaning and History: The Case
of Chemistry' inSeymour H Mauskopf ed
Chemical Sciences in the Modern
World, University of Pennsylvania Press, 1993, pp277-294.
 
Since I am continuing in this line, the  discussion is very germane.
