Collections Care Associate

Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation is currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Collections Care Associate for The Indian Museum of North America®.  This position works under the leadership and supervision of the Collections Manager and plays an integral role in the museum’s preventive conservation program. The Collections Care Associate is responsible for the routine monitoring, inspection, care, and cleaning of museum artifacts as well as the spaces in which they are stored and displayed. Prior Experience handling, caring for, and cleaning objects in a museum or similar setting is essential.  Knowledge of museum best practices and nomenclature as well as museum software is preferred.   Knowledge of Native American history and contemporary art a plus.
