A completely chemical free idea is to use a torch. You can buy small ones for such purposes that attach to a small or large propane tank. Of course, you have to be careful and not do it on a windy day. I just bought a cheap one at Harbor Freight for my home. It only takes a few seconds to wilt/burn the weeds. Another thing I realized the heat alone from the torch can damage plants around it. Not a permanent solution and will need to be done on as the weeds come back.
