I am working with three gradaute students who are creating a virtual museum of everyday writing. They have been working in Omeka but are exploring other sites, thus far Wordpress and Square Space. 
For each of these, there is a downside: lack of design and user support in Omeka, eg; the need to customize in Wordpress and Square Space.

If you are involved in such a museum, can you comment on the platform you chose and your rationale for it?
