The Virginia Historical Society has an immediate opening for its traveling exhibit, An Artist’s Story: Civil War Drawings by Edwin Forbes traveling through October 2015 to commemorate the sesquicentennial of the American Civil War.

Our open venue slot is from November 2013 – February 2014
“Installation Period” is from 1 November – 15 November 2013
“Exhibition Display Period” is from 15 November 2013 – 15 February 2014
“Deinstallation Period” is from 15 February – 28 February 2014
Shipping to next venue no later than March 1, 2014

This is a 1,000 square-foot exhibition with 45 original pen-and-ink drawings based on Edwin Forbes wartime sketches and used to illustrate his memoir, Thirty Years After: An Artist’s Story of the Great War (1890).
