** Guggenheim museum proposed for Wales
A former MP, who will present the idea in a public talk, said the thought of
trying to bring a Guggenheim museum to Wales came a year ago after Finland's
capital Helsinki rejected a feasibility study it had earlier commissioned
from the foundation about opening a centre there
** Museum of the Moving Image Creating Gallery for Jim Henson
The Museum of the Moving Image says that it will create a gallery devoted to
the work of Henson, the puppeteer and artist who died in 1990, following the
donation of nearly 400 puppets, costumes and other props and objects from
Henson's family

An eccentric tycoon named Fan Jianchuan has founded one of the country's
largest private museums with the only halls dedicated to the 'cultural

** Museum raising cash to recreate Hughes flight
The National Airline History Museum is trying to raise $3.2 million to
restore its Lockheed Constellation propeller-driven aircraft and recreate
multimillionaire aviator Howard Hughes' record-setting cross-country flight
in the plane that transformed commercial air travel
