Wait Wait!  Before you use anything on your leather, I would encourage you to read Conservator  Ellen Carrlee's take on why we don't use leather dressing on any of our leather objects at the Alaska State Museum.

Yes, it is entirely synthetic so it does not sour...probably the best wax to use for that reason.
