**  Italians claim they have found Caravaggio sketches
Two Italian art historians are claiming to have identified dozens of 
drawings as those of a very young Caravaggio in a collection of works of a 
master painter under whom he studied in the late 1500s

**  How long can the art market walk on water?
According to Benjamin Mandel, an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of 
New York who has been studying the art trade, comparing the overall economy 
and the art market is misguided: it is the fortunes of the super-rich that 
should be used as the measure at the highest end

**  Replica skeleton of "Elephant Man" appears at Royal London Museum
Using bones kept for research by the medical school at the Royal London 
Hospital where Merrick was treated at the end of his life, curators have 
reconstructed Merrick's frame within an existing display about him, adding a 
visual centrepiece to a new investigation into his DNA which has led 
scientists to re-appraise his condition

**  Finish the 9/11 Museum
The work on the museum has been stalled because of a disagreement about 
construction costs between the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, 
which owns the site and constructed the memorial, and the National September 
11 Memorial and Museum foundation, which now operates the memorial complex

the inaction of Pope Pius XII in the face of the deportation of Jews during
