Victorian Society in America Summer Schools Application

Applications are still being accepted for the annual Victorian Society
in America's London Summer School beyond its official March 1st
deadline (admission is closed for its Newport, RI Summer School). The
London program addresses architecture, art, and social history, with
lectures by internationally respected experts and visits to important
public and private sites. The course (June 31 – July 15) is directed
by Ian Cox, and focuses on 19th-century London, Oxford and Liverpool.
A highlight is a five-day tour of the Midlands and the North of
England led by Gavin Stamp. Course tuition is $4,500. Full and
partial scholarships are still available for qualifying applicants.
Museum professionals, academics, related professionals, and
enthusiasts are encouraged to apply.

Course and scholarship application forms, and additional information
are available at www.victoriansociety.org or by contacting
[log in to unmask] Please e-mail by Friday, March 16th if
you plan to apply; all application materials will be due by Monday,
