You may want to extend your search to the private sector. For example:
in Northern California, Sierra Nevada Brewery continues to receive
accolades, awards, and recognition by getting the 5th largest brewery in
America completely off the grid. Their green innovations are truly
ingenious. Ken Grossman is their CEO. All the best in your search.

Hi all,

 

Our institution is exploring green alternatives to cutting our utility
costs as well as minimizing the energy usage in the community around us.
One of the ideas that has been floating around is the installation of
solar panels on the roof of our facility. I'm curious if other museums
have attempted this and if so, what kind of unique funding/partnership
opportunities are out there to create programs such as these. Thanks for
