I've been told that one of those ingredients is "bleach", something
you definitely don't want on your fabrics. I also think that US
Woolite is different from UK Woolite, which supposedly isn't as bad.
For all my fine wool washables, I use Dawn dishsoap. I figure if it
works on oil-soaked penguins, it will work on my stuff just fine. Or
I'll use my own hair shampoo. After all, wool is essentially sheep
hair. Works great! I have some Soak and Eucelan but for the same
price, I can get a lot of Dawn.

Please note, this is for my own personal items, not for conservation purposes.
