Hi, Briland

Here's one solution to the journal clutter. Better World Books is a
for-profit company that gathers and sells used books on-line.
According to their blog, they donate a large percentage of their
income to good literacy causes and try hard to get books to 3rd world
countries. See http://www.betterworldbooks.com for more details.

In exchange for your labor of finding the ISBNs, etc, and inputting
in the info for 3 + books, they'll pay shipping. See
http://www.betterworldbooks.com/buyback.aspx and
http://www.betterworldbooks.com/Custom.aspx?f=buybackfaq

I learned about this from a listserve for people/bookdealers
interested in antiquarian book (EXLIBRIS). I gathered the info on
behalf of an elderly scientist friend who has too many scientific
journals. Haven't tried it myself, but the day is coming fast!
