In 2004, she accepted the Morris Skinner Award from the United States-based
Society of Vertebrate Palaeontology for outstanding and sustained
contributions to scientific knowledge.

** Dinosaur mummy yields organic molecules
Wogelius and his colleagues conducted infrared imaging, amino acid analysis
and high-temperature breakdown studies that show the organic materials taken
from the hadrosaur are "completely different from the organics present as
background in the surrounding geological sediment."

The first stage of what is expected to be Australia's largest dinosaur
museum will open in the western Queensland town of Winton this week

** Baby dinosaur lends hand in tale
The dinosaur tale playing out at the Nelson Provincial Museum keeps on
growing, and now includes that of a baby dryosaur
** Other fossil news - Toothy 3-foot Piranha Fossil Found
Megapiranha was up to 3 feet long (1 meter) - a fish-beast four times as big
as piranhas living today, studies of its jawbones indicate
** GW Professor discovers new dinosaur
Limusaurus inextricabilis ( meaning "mire lizard who could not escape" ) was
found in 159 million-year-old deposits located in the Junggar Basin of
Xinjiang, north-western China (see also story below)
** Sereno finds 1st Nut-Eating Dino
The find is also significant in that the Psittacosaurus showed
palaeontologists a whole new way that dinosaurs chewed, dubbed by Sereno and
his co-authors as "inclined-angle" chewing
