Currently we only count our entrances manually. Although we are looking
into upgrading our software to include an automated counting system.
There are numerous systems that automatically count the flow of traffic
but none that I can give a adequate opinion on...sorry.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] People Counters

Hello Listers,

We are a small university art museum that is free to the public. As
such, we do not issue tickets, stickers, buttons, etc. Visitors just
walk in to view our exhibitions from two separate entrances.

For a number of years we have been using an Amseco Entry/Exit Traffic
Counter (model # EBP-407C) to count our visitors. It has been replaced
several times during my tenure and is neither accurate nor reliable.

My question is, what are other museums with similar setups using? Is
there a product you would recommend or recommend we avoid?

Many thanks in advance for your input!

Best,
Teri
