I don't have any experience with that brand, but we have one, two or more
videos on loop in our museum all the time. I'm not sure of the prices since
I didn't do the purchasing, but they are all Sony brand, multi-disk players.
Just make sure whatever you buy has a loop feature. One has been playing
every day now for 5 or 6 years with no problems. From what I have read about
DVD players is that cheaper brands or models often cut back on quality parts
in circuit boards. I had a DVD player at home die recently and found that it
was a blown component on the board. It was easily repaired with an upgraded
part for about $2. In theory, for reliability's sake, you might need to
spend the money.

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] DVD player

Does anybody have any experience using a "Videotel Industrial DVD player"?
We need something to play a continuous loop in one of our galleries and was
wondering how this one is. Or does anyone have a suggestion of an
alternative that is in the same price range (ca. $250)?
