#5: It's in Saratoga Springs, NY, so you can "take the waters," visit great museums, the race track, and grand hotels.
#4: The theme is "Invigorating Museums" - so you can show off how you are refreshing and renewing your museum through a panel, roundtable, workshop, or information session.
#3: There is a reduced fee for presenters and session chairs!
#2: It's a great way to build up your resume/CV.
and the #1 reason: You've always wanted to be a presenter at a conference!

Hi everyone,
You know you want to...so make this the year! Please consider submitting a proposal for the Mid-Atlantic Association of Museums' Annual Meeting, 2009, to be held in Saratoga Springs, NY October 18 -21.

You can find all the information about the conference and download the proposal form at www.midatlanticmuseums.org.
If you're in another state but would like to present, your session chair must be from one of the Mid-Atlantic region states (NY, NJ, DE, PA, MD, DC)in order for you to participate.

Deadline is Feb 15, 2009.

Thanks and looking forward to seeing your proposal!

- It'll be a great day when the schools (and museums) get all the money they need and the airforce has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber.
