Hello all,

We have a small collection of Clewell pottery, made by artist Charles Walter Clewell between about 1900 and 1948.  He was from Canton, OH, and I am working on a program for a local antiques group next week.  

He worked in pottery coated in a thin layer of bronze, which he altered using a chemical formula only he knew.  The patina changed to his signature blue-green.  But he also made plain bronze pieces.  We have mostly vases, but he did make candlesticks, ashtrays, and other items.

I was just wondering who else might have some of his work.  I'd like to put together a list of museums that have a piece in their collections.
