Here in Frederick County the local newspaper has been sponsoring a history
bee for the last 10 years. You can go here www.fnpnie.com/programs.htm to
get some information about it you can also contact Kari Saavedra the paper's
education coordinator. She's a former museum education person herself. Her

Subject: [MUSEUM-L] History Bee
Please excuse the cross postings, but I haven't received any feedback
from the Small Museum listserv.
One of our board members thought it would be fun to have a community
history bee -- like a spelling bee only for history. Has anyone out
there done such a thing and, if so, how did it work? Was it successful?
Any advice is appreciated. Thanks,
