**  Dino 'graveyard' reveals first Asian triceratops
In China's Shandong province, the 2-metre-long skull of a close relative of 
the famed horned dinosaur triceratops has been unearthed. It marks the first 
evidence that the group, called ceratopsids, ever lived outside western 
North America

**  Collection of dinosaur fossils auctioned off
Most of the items auctioned off by Maynards sold for much lower than 
estimated value, a boon for the dozens of budget-minded fossil hunters and 
palaeontology enthusiasts who gathered for the one-hour auction

Sereno is slated to receive the seventh annual Roy Chapman Andrews Society

**  Cities dig in to protect precious fossil sites
The Japanese municipalities, which have been the sites of recent dinosaur 
fossil discoveries, want to prevent the smuggling of the prehistoric finds, 
which has become a major headache in other countries

Scientists found over 3,000 fossilized dinosaur bones, including a 2-meter 
skull of a large horned Ceratopsian, the first such finding outside of North 
America

**  The bone collector
As a member of a recovery team for Paleo Prospectors, a group of 
palaeontology enthusiasts and researchers who lease more than 100,000 acres 
of Western dinosaur- and fossil-bearing ranch land, he recently helped 
excavate a duck-billed Edmontosaurus in North Dakota

**  Stanford scientists scan birdlike dinosaur for evolution clues
The researchers used synchrotron radiation, which produces intense X-ray 
beams, to build an elemental image of the creature
