IMLS Extends Deadlines for Organizations in FEMA-declared Disaster Areas

In response to institutions dealing with disasters, the Institute of
Museum and Library Services (IMLS) is extending by two weeks all museum
grant deadlines through the end of the calendar year for organizations
in counties that have been declared disaster areas by the Federal
Emergency Management Agency, announced Anne-Imelda Radice, PhD, Director
of IMLS. 

Affected grant programs include:

1. Bank of America/IMLS American Heritage Preservation Grants, deadline
Sept. 15 
(for FEMA-declared disaster areas Sept 29)
2. Conservation Project Support, deadline Oct. 1 (for FEMA-declared
disaster areas Oct. 15)
3. Connecting to Collections Statewide Planning Grants, deadline Oct. 15
(for FEMA-declared disaster areas Oct. 29)
4. Museums for America, deadline Nov. 1 (for FEMA-declared disaster
areas Nov. 15)
