Hello! Has anyone tried the X5 Storage Solutions steel sliding storage
system sold through Gaylord? (pg.550 of their 2008 catalog). Supposedly
the tracks don't need to be permanently attached to the ground, and the
chrome wire shelving slides along the track - presumably by pushing the
units from the side, as there is no crank system. I believe they use a
ball bearing system to move. There are locks/brakes for each unit.
I'm wondering how well it works, as I am considering it as an option to
hold objects temporarily during object processing. If each shelf can
hold 800 lbs, I have to wonder how easily they slide along the track.
Any experiences?
Thanks!
