The College Park Aviation Museum is looking for someone with an interest or experience in education or museum education to assist us with programs, tours, working with teachers and other educators, scheduling, and developing education activities and programs. This is a part-time position approximately 25 hrs. per week and can be done during school hours(typically 9am-1 or 2 pm)
All PT staff are required to work one weekend day per month as well as assist with scheduled seasonal programs. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with the public and feels comfortable speaking to groups. This position will assist us with the development of tours and programs that are appropriate for all levels of education, from pre-K to adult groups. No experience in the aviation or aviation history field is required.
The Museum is walking distance from the Metro Green Line (College Park Station), which is also the stopping point for county and Metro bus service. Salary is $9 per hour.
