Hello, all, and sorry for cross postings.

At the recent AAM meeting in Denver, I volunteered to be part of the
program committee for the coming year's AAM. This means that I will
spend a chunk of time with excellent colleagues reviewing session
proposals submitted by other excellent colleagues. At the planning
meeting, there was a general consensus that we would like to
see...surprise...some new, more interactive formats for session
proposals. Not just the same ol' powerpoint and questions routine,
but something more engaging, memorable, creative. So, I volunteered
to poll colleagues to harvest ideas for alternative formats.

There has been a lively discussion of this on the ASTC listserv, and
in order to collect ideas, I am hoping people can send me the
following, in very summary format:

Name for Session Format
Number of Presenters
Format description in 3-4 sentences
Seating arrangements or other special requirements

If you can send this to me offlist, I will compile and share with
everyone.

Many thanks!
