Underwater archaeologists working on behalf of the Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands have updated their online project journal with video footage and photographs of the Japanese and American wreckage they are investigating around the island of Saipan. The journal is part of their public outreach efforts. The archaeologists are also successfully using the site to encourage members of the public to share information about potential sites.
