ICCROM - COURSE ANNOUNCEMENT
ICCROM , in collaboration with the Institut National du Patrimoine (France), the
Centro Conservazione e Restauro La Venaria Reale, the Istituto Centrale per il Restauro
and the Opificio delle pietre Dure (Italy), is pleased to announce the fourth session of
the International course on "Sharing conservation decisions 2008".
The purpose of the course is to improve conservation decisions by involving the various
professions and stakeholders, and ensuring transparency, clarity, and the effectiveness of
the process.
The course will take place in Rome, Italy, from 3 to 28 November 2008 (4 weeks).
It is designed for any professional actively involved in heritage conservation, i.e.,
anthropologists, archaeologists, architects, art historians, collections and site managers,
conservators-restorers, conservation scientists, curators, directors of small to medium
size museums, galleries and archives, registrars.
The application deadline is 29 February 2008.

ICCROM , en collaboration avec l'Institut National du Patrimoine (France), le Centro
Conservazione e Restauro La Venaria Reale, l'Istituto Centrale per il Restauro et
l'Opificio delle Pietre Dure (Italy), a le plaisir d'annoncer la 4ème session du cours
international "Partage des décisions sur la conservation 2008".
L'Objectif du cours est d'améliorer les décisions sur la conservation, en impliquant les
différentes professions et les différents acteurs, et en assurant la transparence, la clarté et
l'efficacité du processus.
Le cours aura lieu à in Rome, Italie, du 3 au 28 Novembre 2008 (4 semaines).
Le cours est destiné à tout professionnel impliqué dans la conservation du patrimoine
culturel : anthropologues, archéologues, historiens d'art, architectes, conservateurs,
directeurs de musées de petite et moyenne taille et de services d'archives, responsables
de sites, responsables administratifs, régisseurs, restaurateurs, scientifiques de la
conservation (chimiste, physicien, biologiste).
La date limite d'inscription est le 29 Février 2008.
