Finally, are you certain the shoes are old enough to
have been made in the Tudor era? According to
Wikipedia, "The Tudor period usually refers to the
period between 1485 and 1603, specifically in relation
to the history of England."
It would be worth having an expert examine the shoes
to determine their approximate age.
