FALLINGWATER COLLECTIONS INTERNSHIP (1 Opening)

This is a unique opportunity to work at Fallingwater, the world-renowned
architectural site and masterpiece designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.  The
intern will be involved in a variety of tasks related to the care and
management of the Fallingwater collection, and will work under the
direct supervision of the Curator of Buildings and Collections.  We are
looking for a graduate student with education or background in Art
History, Museum Studies, Architectural History, History, Historic
Preservation, or a related field of study. This is a paid internship
with free housing.  

Required Qualifications:

-Above listed education requirements 
-Proven experience working on complex projects, multiple tasks and
assignments involving other associates - must have very good
organization skills 
-Able to demonstrate good decision-making skills 
-Good communication skills 
-Good writing skills and able to produce clear written summaries of
documents or reports 
-Good computer skills 
-Cooperative work ethic, good interpersonal skills and the ability to
work with a wide range of people 

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience in object handling and appropriate storage methods 
-Experience with Re:discovery software or other collections management
software
