Take a look at Granbury, TX. They have an active historic preservation project 
ongoing. They have recently constructed a new City Hall building within the 
historic district. They used architecture that mirrored the historic 
architecture to create a congruous appearance. However, the new building was 
purposely constructed to be different enough so as to not confuse it with the
