The journal Museums & Social Issues is looking for individuals interested in
contributing to an upcoming publication on the topic of immigration.

Vol. 3(2), to be published in fall of 2008, will explore a range of topics
surrounding "Immigration," including but not limited to ways museums have
addressed this broad topic. We are seeking individuals who can identify
primary issues in this area, offer ideas, and provide resources to help
shape the publication. Individuals willing to serve as advisors, authors,
or reviewers are encouraged to contact Dr. Kris Morrissey, editor-in-chief,
at [log in to unmask]

Museums & Social Issues is a peer-reviewed journal published by Left Coast
Press, Inc. The journal provides a forum for discourse about social issues
and the engagement of museums in those issues. Each journal includes
theoretical, philosophical, and practical perspectives drawn from inside and
outside the field of museum practice.

"Read, every day, something no one else is reading. Think, every day,
something no one else is thinking. Do, every day, something no one else
would be silly enough to do. It is bad for the mind to continually be part
of unanimity." (Christopher Morley)
