hmm- jokes on staff members... there are plenty of those around here. Proving that its dangerous to go on vacation for more than a few days... 

I've seen the following. (Of course, I've never done such things like this myself... nor would I condone any such action on your fellow coworkers...Nope...)

Filled an office 2 feet deep with balloons.

Built a four and a half foot tall wall of canned corn around a coworkers desk...

Wrapped an entire office- desk, rugs, chairs, computer, artwork, etc. in aluminum foil...

Wrapped an entire car in aluminum foil...

Decorated an entire office in a color scheme strongly disliked by the office resident... Of course the slow burn on that joke was that she was still finding colored post it notes placed there by us in file folders five years later....

Food for thought.
