Museum Director
Historic Holyoke at Wistariahurst is seeking an
energetic, practical, hands-on Director. The goal of
the historic house museum is to engage the public in
Holyoke’s history and to serve as resource focused on
the people, industry, landscape and culture of Holyoke
with exhibits and programs relevant to Holyoke’s
diverse community. 

The successful candidate will have demonstrated
leadership qualities, community-building skills, as
well as strong fundraising and grant writing
experience.  The Director will supervise two full-time
and three part-time employees who are assisted by
interns and an active team of volunteers.  Master's
degree or a minimum of five years related management
or museum experience required.  The Director is a
full-time municipal employee and City Department Head.
