Global Logistics Director - based in NYC

For our client, APT Holding Worldwide/Artist Pension Trust, we are seeking a
highly experienced individual for a senior management position.  Works of
art are the primary asset of this global financial services company. The
successful applicant will manage 8 international art holding facilities and
a client base from over 60 countries. Responsibilities include:  management
and oversight of central operations staff; management and oversight of
registrars and logistics support staff in all facility locations; research,
evaluation and contract negotiation for all art handling and storage service
providers; complete on-site inspections of all APT facility locations;
Review and revision of all reporting and documentation procedures; ability
to oversee budget and project growth cycles; manage coordination of
sponsored exhibitions and special project events; other duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in
international art handling, shipping and storage and possess excellent
organizational, communications and logistical skills at a senior management
level. Knowledge of modern and contemporary art essential.  The position
involves extensive travel. BA required. Generous salary and benefits.
